Hi Everyone,
Yesterday, I rode on the new Metro Transit Authority commuter train line 888, it's a long distance rail service between Minneapolis and Big Lake, Minnesota. Some stations provide a bus or DAR (Dail-A-Ride) connections. Between St Cloud and Big Lake have a new Metro Bus Northstar Link motorcoach bus line 887 operated by St Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission (SCMTC) "Metro Bus" the MNDoT's Northstar buses sold to SCMTC, repainted and renamed to Northstar Link.
Northstar trains have a restroom onboard it's accessible for wheelchairs.

Nice pictures! Does the lift work well? My brother is in a wheelchair so I wonder about those.
ReplyDeleteYes, Lift working great. The conductor have a key just as childproof protection. Either have rampboard or lift, depending on occuiped space. Most station have "End" ramps with a rampboard and Non-ramped they use a lift.
